We're excited about having you guys at our big day and we're hoping this blog helps with bringing all our friends together.

Let's use this blog to discuss travel plans, make new friends and to even keep in touch after the wedding!

Do use the comments section to figure out flight dates and landing times. Avi and I will be referring to these landing times when sending cars to the airport to pick you guys up. We will also be providing accomodation.

Here are the dates for December:
8th - Engagement (evening)
9th - Mehndi (morning) and Party (night)
10th - Sangeet (night)
11th - Wedding (evening)
12th - Lunch Reception and Dinner Reception.

Here are some links that will come in handy when booking international and domestic flights. There are international airlines to major cities and then domestic flights from those cities to Nagpur:

International
Sometimes it's a good idea to search for affordable flights on zuji.com and then head over to the carrier website to see if you can get an even better deal.

You can take flights to either Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. It's fastest to get to Nagpur from Mumbai.

Current airfares on zuji.com showed the following deals:
Singapore-Mumbai = S$570 and upwards (Air India)
Singapore-Bangalore = S$650 and upwards (Thai Airways)
Singapore-Delhi = S$710 and upwards (Thai Airways)

Domestic
You can check out domestic fares at makemytrip.com, from any of the three cities above to Nagpur.

There are 2 categories: Full fare and No Frills.
Full Fare:
Jet airways, Kingfisher airlines are the best in full fare catagory, and are expensive. You get a meal and there's business class,. Jet is the best for international flights.
No Frills:
Indigo, Go air and Spicejet are the best in descending order. Indigo is said to have the best on-time arrival rate and they use new flights. You get no free meals- you can purchase them on board and there's no business class.
Jet group has other no frill airlines called Jet Konnect and Jet Lite which aren't receiving good reviews.
